Belated Updates Continued, LOL.
July 4th, 2017 Well, happy fourth of July! Shocked how we have continued our trend of not posting on the website our monthly Covenant Notes that we share with each Neighborhood Fellowship Group as we organize our studies, worship and fellowship. Oh well, here is hoping we can become more consistent. I know we send off those emails or flyers in the mail, but we have become lazy on those website features. We will try to correct that behavior in the days ahead. In our Adult Through the Bible study series we have been studying on the Minor Prophets. It has led to some intriguing lessons to say the least. I personally enjoyed our study in Joel a great deal. Exploring past to consider today's Pentecost, or the Latter Rain. It was enjoyable, and the other books are just as good as they offer us so many nuggets of truth. Our Authentic Men and Authentic Women classes are consistently drawing praise from those who attend. I know the materials are good, but I think the examples and relational aspects have drawn the most praise. I appreciate the Godly examples we have within our fellowship for the young and the old. Our Foundations for Faith Classes continue to offer a firm bedrock for new believers, and we find more and more old timers ( LOL ) coming back for a refresher as well. That is awesome, but also quite helpful for the new believers, as those of us who have come along in our faith, can address some of their questions in a more personal way. The Shepherd's Trilogy and Study on Intimacy With God continues to see the most people wanting to be a part, or going back to be a part of it again. This series we designed based off the Philip Keller Trilogy on the Good Shepherd and the Lamb of God, has certainly touched more lives than I can dare say. So many folks have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit during those classes. It is amazing. Well, enjoy your picnics today. Oh by the way, I hope to have some fun news soon. For I have discussed with Bishop Boer the possibility of doing some street Evangelism here in Omaha, He has offered to come here and bring his equipment, and we can then have meetings on the green. I think it would be fantastic, and I hope to bring the idea to the Shepherd Leader this week, then make it happen. Glory to God! God bless and keep you all, don't eat too much today okay. In His Mercy, Reverend Vossen
