I want to put to rest any fears about Reverend Vossen. There seems to be a lot of rumors of his ill health or sickness, and much of it is out of order.
Reverend Vossen did go to the ER Monday with severe pain, as he was not able to clear his bladder, etc... After his arrival the nurse and doctor present assessed that he had to have his bladder cleared, then they would have tests to see if his kidney or bladder had been damaged ( as pastor had almost waited too long to go to the emergency room ). Thankfully they took care of him and the tests came back negative. He does have to be out of work, and will not be unavailable for ministry for two weeks. He has some devices he will have to use to help him with his bladder. Other tests might be necessary later I am told. Keep him in your prayers as he recovers. He is quite limited in his functionality right now, and we trust he will be himself in the days to come. Be safe during these challenging times that are upon us saints of God. Pray one for another, Amen. In His Name, Derek Smith Shepherd Neighborhood Leader Northwest Omaha 8 The Lord is his people’s strength;
he is a fortress of protection for his anointed one. 9 Save your people, God! Bless your possession! Shepherd them and carry them for all time! Psalm 28:8,9 I am trusting God to put a fortress of protection around His anointed ones in this hour. I know there are troubling signs around about us, and fear considering so many unstable things in life. As sickness and other maladies seem rampant upon the earth. However, the Lord's steadfast love is sure, and I am praying His hedge of protection about you, and that if there is any sickness that has befallen you, that the Lord will lift you up with His right hand of power. Giving you strength and great joy. Grace to all the CGMF Family. |
