In reviewing items at both our CGMF and FBC websites, it has become apparent that the forums are inactive. We have had very few people sign up and get involved in the past few months. This being the case we have chosen to cancel the payments to Tal.ki and look afresh at this concept. I believe folks participation in Facebook, Google+, Twitter, etc.. has seen the forum become a once in awhile occasional thought. Maybe with better promotion we can have greater involvement in the future, but for now those pages are being deleted.
Thanks to those who did participate and were involved in its endeavor. We will see how the Lord might lead us in a future with such a concept as this. August 20th, 2017 With so many folks on vacation the past few weeks, it has been difficult to keep things organized. LOL. Nevertheless, here is the latest from the Ministry and Fellowship of CGMF. We have combined are Authentic Men and Authentic Women classes into one Neighborhood Group each. Now men and women meet together separately, but at the same location now in smaller groups. Our goal here is that families can stay together and there will be less disruption. We also will be starting in September our Thru The Bible series on Luke. What will be new is that we will have prep study beforehand available for each class. This way you get the most out of each class. Reverend Vossen has designated one of our bible teachers to prepare these prep reviews for us. Gathering meetings for August were exciting. We had them in two locations. One in Kearney and the other in Omaha. The worship was lively and the Holy Spirit ministered in a wonderful way in each. Seven folks repented and were baptized so far this month, and many filled with His Spirit as God moved in these meetings in a tremendous way. Next month Reverend Vossen will be preaching at the Omaha meeting, and Pastor Jim Harris from Kansas City in our Gathering in Grand Island. Please be in prayer for the ministry as are Shepherd Leaders gather next month to map out what God has on the agenda for the months to come. Also, changes in Reverend Vossen's involvement in the ministry will be discussed. Reverend Vossen and the Shepherd leaders appointed Skip, Mary and Jeff to handle most of the every day tasks a year or so ago. Yet, leadership senses a change in direction and we are wanting to see how best to proceed in the year to come. Grace and Peace to all. Enjoy the remainder of your summer.
