" A MINISTRY OF FAITH THAT BELIEVES IN MAKING DISCIPLES THAT ARE COMMITTED TO CHRIST AND ONE ANOTHER. "
August 6 - Our Dependence upon the Holy Spirit
In our fleshly nature, all of us have certain weaknesses. These weaknesses are not of the body but of the mind—of our understanding. They manifest themselves in two related ways. First, we often do not know what we should pray for. Second, even when we do know what to pray for, we do not know how to pray for it. We are therefore silenced by total dependence on the Holy Spirit. He alone can show us both the what and the how of prayer. (See Romans 8:26–27.)
In the book of Ephesians, Paul emphasized our dependence upon the Holy Spirit to give us prayers that are acceptable to God. He stressed that it is only Jesus and the Holy Spirit who can give us access to God:
For through Him [Jesus Christ] we both [Jews and Gentiles] have access by one Spirit [the Holy Spirit] to the Father. (Ephesians 2:18)
Two conditions for acceptable prayers are here combined: through Jesus and by the Holy Spirit. Each is essential. There is no natural force that can carry our puny human voices from earth to the very ears of God on His throne in heaven. Only the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit can do that. Without Him, we have no access to God.
Thank You, Lord, that I can come to You. I proclaim my total dependence upon the Holy Spirit, who can give me access through Jesus to the Father. I have access to God through the Holy Spirit. Amen.

The History of CGMF.
CGMF began as ministry almost seven years ago. With three basic goals in mind. One, to help train disciples locally, and to encourage the establishment of bible neighborhood fellowships within the church in an interdenominational fashion. Two, provide for much needed assistance for those without medical insurance. Finally, to establish a network of attorneys to give legal guidance to those without the ability to afford one when necessary.
These basic three goals saw the establishment of CGMF Inc.. Since then CGMF has grown and expanded throughout the state of Nebraska. To facilitate this growth CGMF's main office has now moved to Omaha, Nebraska in its efforts to better handle the fluid changes within the ministry itself.
CGMF has 22 neighborhood fellowship groups located throughout the state of Nebraska. Eight of which are unique and independent, whom are associated with CGMF, but are not under its authority or oversight. All the CGMF affiliated groups and associated partners serve in training, teaching and establishing disciples for Christ. With a specially designed teaching program of rotational classes, including special events. All of which have been developed to equip each and every believer in their walk of faith.
Reverend Patrick Vossen is our founder and president of CGMF Inc.. Rev. Vossen has ministered in various locales and holds license and ordination with FGRMC, as well other ministerial associations. He also serves as a Bishop on the Council of Elders of FGRMC, and is the President of Focus Bible College.
