We are the temple of God the scripture says as believers in Christ Jesus. It is within our Spirit that God houses the same embodiment of God's grace as we see reflected from those articles in the Ark of the Covenant. Veiled in flesh is how God revealed himself through us, and through us as His " little christ's " he tries to do the same.
One of the articles in that Ark was a piece of the manna God used to feed the people of God, which God allowed for them to put away in a jar in remembrance of His provision. In each believer He tries to do the same, as the Living Manna ( His Word ), is shared through us and touches those we come in contact to each day. Our lives, living temples or tabernacles of His grace. Are to be used in honor to the Lord, to share His love to all we come in contact to. We need to honor and cherish what God has given us, in a way that respects His name. Which is to live out his Word and what is represented in the Ark as living epistles to be read of all. Glorifying God in our bodies to the praise of His Name. Remember this: John 6:58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. It isn’t like the bread your ancestors ate, and then they died. Whoever eats this bread will live forever Common English Bible. (2011). (Jn 6:58). Nashville, TN: Common English Bible.

In some of our adult groups we finished studying the book of Job. My class is studying Ecclesiastes and will finish with Song of Songs. Many of our Shepherd Groups will be considering the book of Acts the next quarter in our Bible Immersion Classes. I asked David Rose to write this summary of Job and share with those in the ministry. David attended Moody Bible Institute and San Diego State University. He is an excellent bible teacher and gifted musician. David currently assists us at times at CGMF with his Bible teaching expertise in addition to his other ministry endeavors. |
