Over a year ago, we first introduced the Reclaiming Democracy Series—an educational framework designed to spark meaningful conversations about civic engagement, democratic principles, and community responsibility. Since then, the response has exceeded our expectations. What began as a grassroots teaching initiative has grown into a resource adopted by congregations across denominations and educators in higher education settings. From Sunday school outlines to university seminar modules, the series has found a place where people are actively seeking structured, thoughtful materials on this important topic. What's New in This Revision? We've listened to feedback from pastors, teachers, and professors who have worked with the original version. The result is a significantly streamlined experience that respects everyone's time without sacrificing depth. It is more modular and simpler to work with, as some pastors noted the original carried too much detail to deliver in an organized fashion. We trust this streamlined version helps you in your presentation of the series.
