​Covenant of Grace is stepping into a new and meaningful season of ministry partnership. As many of you know, Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Council Bluffs is now under the leadership of our founding pastor, Dr. Patrick Vossen, who will be formally installed in the weeks ahead. This small but historic congregation has weathered years of neglect and unmet needs, and now stands at the threshold of renewal.

Dr. Vossen has introduced the Nehemiah Project as the guiding vision for rebuilding Tabernacle—restoring not only the physical structure, but the hope, dignity, and mission of a church that has served its community for generations. There is much to be done, and we have an opportunity to come alongside them in love and generosity.

Whether it’s five, ten, twenty dollars, or whatever the Lord places on your heart, every gift matters. Your prayers, your time, your hands, and your financial support will help Tabernacle rise again. For nineteen years, Dr. Vossen has faithfully shepherded Covenant of Grace. Though he continues to oversee our ministry, he has entrusted the daily work to myself and our Shepherd Leaders so he can answer this new call.

I am grateful for every member who already feels the burden and the blessing of this endeavor. Let us stand behind our pastor, and let us stand with Tabernacle, believing that God will honor every act of faithfulness.
