Come And Let Us Reason Together Have you ever felt lost, hopeless, or like you've made too many mistakes for God to forgive you? If so, you're not alone. In Isaiah 1:18, God says, "Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool." This is an invitation from God to come to Him and talk about our sins. He doesn't want us to hide from Him or be ashamed of what we've done. He wants us to come to Him with our burdens and let Him take them away. In Hosea 6:1-6, we see another example of God's love and forgiveness. The Israelites had turned away from God and were worshiping idols. But God didn't give up on them. He sent the prophet Hosea to them with a message of hope and restoration. Hosea told the Israelites that if they would repent and turn back to God, He would forgive them and heal their land. He said, "Come, let us return to the Lord; for he has torn us, that he may heal us; he has struck us down, and he will bind us up. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, that we may live before him. Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord; his going out is sure as the dawn; he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains water the earth" (Hosea 6:1-3). This is the message that God has for us today. No matter what we've done, He loves us and wants to forgive us. He wants us to come to Him and let Him heal our wounds. If you're feeling lost or hopeless, I encourage you to listen to our message from last weekend, "Come And Let Us Reason Together." In this message, we explore the hope and forgiveness found in Isaiah 1:18,19 and Hosea 6:1-6. We believe that this message will encourage you and remind you of God's love for you.
