Message Outline For This Saturday 9-28-24, " The Divine And His Beloved. "

In the sacred verses of Psalm 139, we encounter a breathtaking portrait of God's all-encompassing knowledge and His intimate understanding of every facet of our being. As we delve into this profound passage, prepare to be captivated by the awe-inspiring truth that the Creator of the cosmos knows us intimately our thoughts, our words, our very essence.

The psalmist's words resonate with a sense of wonder as they declare, "O Lord, you have searched me and known me!" This is not a knowledge born of surveillance but of divine love, a love that has woven us together in our mother's womb (Psalm 139:13).

We are invited to contemplate the mystery that even before a word is on our tongue, God knows it completely (Psalm 139:4). This divine awareness is not meant to instill fear, but rather to assure us that we are fully seen, fully known, and fully loved by the One who created us.

As we reflect on this psalm, may we find solace in the truth that we are never alone, never hidden from the gaze of our Heavenly Father. May it inspire us to live authentically, embracing the unique individuals God has created us to be.

(Note: An audio message expanding on these insights will be available soon. Stay tuned!)

In His Mercy,
Pastor Vossen

The Changing Church Part 4. Our Final Installment On This Series.

Reverend Vossen's lesson series on the Changing Church has been both challenging and insightful. Let's recap the key takeaways you've gained:

  • Understanding Growing Pains: The series has explored how the church, like any organization, experiences challenges and struggles as it grows and evolves. These might include internal conflicts, adapting to new cultural contexts, or navigating theological disagreements.
  • Development and Discipling: It seems we've also delved into how the church has developed its approach to discipleship over time. This could involve examining different models of discipleship, the role of mentorship, and how the church equips its members for spiritual growth.
  • Insights into Early Church Leaders: We visited extraordinary individuals in the early church, which provided valuable lessons for today. Their stories of faith, courage, and perseverance can inspire us to live out our own faith more fully.
Additionally, the series has addressed questions like:
  • How can we embrace change while remaining true to the core message of the Gospel?
  • How can we foster an environment that encourages spiritual growth and discipleship?
  • What lessons can we learn from the early church about navigating challenges and conflicts?
Hopefully, this final session with Reverend Vossen will tie all these threads together and leave you with a renewed sense of purpose and direction as you continue your journey of faith.

We have attached tomorrows study notes for your personal preparation, and enjoyment of the lesson.
